A commemorative run to mark the countdown for the 4th CISM Military World Games with a message of friendship through sport was organised on 27 March in the Indian Capital New Delhi and across 24 cities in the entire country.
The event in the capital was attended by thousands and was presided over by the defence minister Shri AK Antony. Over 1000 diplomats from the participating nations, the chiefs of the three services of the Indian Armed forces with eminent personalities marked the occasion. Bravo the mascot slithered down from the Indian Air Force helicopter amidst a spectacular show by the skydivers of the akash ganga team. Para motor flying and a host of cultural shows added colour to the celebrations. | |
