Medical Information

1.      Health Advisory       :      India is non-endemic country for Yellow-Fever, however individuals coming from Yellow Fever endemic countries require immunization against Yellow Fever as per International Health Regulations.

(a)     Hyderabad and Mumbai are non-endemic for malaria and Indian troops stationed in Hyderabad as well as local civil population are not advised any chemoprophylaxis against malaria.  However you are advised to follow WHO guidelines ,on the subject.

2.      Pre participation health card : Pre Participation health cards will be handed over to each participant through their respective Chief-de-Missions. The same after filling up can be compiled and submitted back to the Medical Committee.

3.      Payment to private hospital for tertiary superspeciality care: As per the decision of CISM, payment to private hospital for tertiary superspeciality care has to be made in cash to the hospital by the respective Chief-de-Missions.  For info of all Chief-de-Missions please.

4.      Medical Insurance:  The name of the insurance company in respect of each athlete/each country has to be intimated in the Pre participation health card.
