The theme has been inspired from the five rings of the Olympic logo, which are meant to depict the five continents - the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia.
The logo is also a graphic depiction of five petals, each in a vibrant colour, of India’s National Flower – the Lotus.
The Logo has been designed by Lt Col H Padmanabhan of the Corps of Signals of the Indian Army.
