- The Handball Championship will be held at Saroornagar Indoor stadium which has the following characteristics:
- 2000 seats
- Wooden floor (Taraflex is foreseen)
- 1 field
- Field surface: 54x34
- 2 change rooms fully equipped
- Airco to be installed
The competition will be organized for 12 men teams, including the Indian Team. One field for training will be also available.
Regulations for the Games
The Handball tournaments will be organised in accordance with the most recent technical regulations of the International Handball Federation (IHF).

For football men tournament, the teams will be selected by a Preliminary round on continental level. For the others the TC Concerned will prepare a ranking list of classification which shall take into account the last 5 years participations (including 2006). This list will be handed over to all listed nations by the end of 2006. The Teams qualified shall sign a compromise of participation signed by the Chief of Delegation during the CISM GA 2007. When a nation qualified does not sign the compromise, or decides not to participate, the next team listed in the ranking shall be invited to replace the withdrawn team.
